Maps for Mobile

October 6th, 2008 — 1:53pm

We’ve deployed a great improvement for our mobile users

When you ask for a weather report, you will automatically get a map for the airport of your choosing together with the rest of your airfield data (ICAO identifier, IATA code, coordinates, sunrise and sunset).

Fine improvements also finished

October 5th, 2008 — 1:57pm

We’re done!

We’ve translated the whole site to the new wheather reports source (ours)
We’ve checked as much as we’ve been able to. As usual, we will have forgotten to check something…
When you find out what it is, please let us know.

Major improvements are now finished

October 3rd, 2008 — 2:00pm

We’re almost done

As we announced, we’ve been working hard for you to stop suffering some slow response times.
We think you’ll love what we’ve accomplished. Now, the METAR and TAF reports are continuously updated in our server.
Thus, we don’t need to refresh it every time you ask for it. This way, the response times are at the lowest we can imagine!
Plus, we’ve gone through some graphic re-design to make things nicer to see.
But that’s not all! We’ve added SPECI reports. As you sure know, SPECI reports are issued when conditions at the airfield change substantially.
Well, we deserve a (small) rest.
Let us know how you like www.aviador.es.
